For this, in case of weight less than 100 kg, you will have to pay Rs 4,000 for commuting from Katra to Bhawan and in case of weight more than 100 kg, Rs 4,500 will be charged.

To make the holy journey of Mata Vaishno, the devotees get a wonderful opportunity to visit Mother Bhagwati by trekking a difficult climb of 13.5 km. Keeping this in mind, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has started a battery car service Vaishno Devi for devotees who are 50 years of age and above.

Battery car service runs only between Ardhkuwari to Bhawan. Devotees will have to pay Rs 354 per person for traveling from Ardhkuwari to Bhawan via battery car while traveling from Bhavan to Ardhkumari via battery car will have to pay Rs 236 per person. At the time of booking, it will be mandatory for the devotees to show a certificate or ID, the same battery car runs in the service of the devotees from 06:10 Am to 10:00 PM.

The Shrine Board has extended service time till 10:00 pm so that more and more devotees can take advantage of this service. Now battery car service is available to devotees in about 7 stages. In this till 7:30 in the morning, then till 10 in the morning. Then till 1 pm, after that till 3:30 pm and after that till 6 pm and after that till 8 pm, and finally till 10 pm this battery car service is currently available for the devotees.
